    What international SEO covers

    International SEO illustrationGOREVIEWInternational SEO

    Market and structure choice

Country domains, subfolders or subdomains each have trade offs for authority, cost and local trust. We recommend the right structure for your markets and resources.

    Hreflang implementation

Correct hreflang tells search engines which version of a page to show in each country and language. Errors here are very common and silently send users to the wrong version.

    Localisation, not translation

Search terms, spellings, currencies and buying habits differ between markets. We research each market rather than translating UK keywords.

    Local signals

Local links, reviews and business listings in each target country, which influence trust far more than translated copy alone.

    Market level reporting

Performance tracked per country so you can see which markets are paying back.

    How it runs

    01

    Audit

A review of your current international setup, including URL structure, hreflang implementation, and how each target market actually searches for what you sell.

    02

    Plan

A written plan setting out the order of work, what each stage costs and the numbers we will report against. You keep it whether or not you hire us.

    03

    Build

The foundations first: technical fixes, structured data, content and review collection, shipped in weekly increments rather than one large reveal.

    04

    Compound

Monthly reporting on rankings, AI citations, enquiries and revenue, with the plan adjusted each quarter against what is actually working.

    Why GoReview

    Why businesses choose us

    We own the reputation layer

Our own review platform is used by more than 2,500 businesses and has collected over 60,000 reviews. Review signals feed rankings, AI citations and paid conversion, so we do not have to resell somebody else’s tool.

AI search and classic search together

We optimise for ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews alongside traditional rankings, because buyers now move between all of them.

    One team, UK hours

Search, content, social, paid and reputation sit with the same Manchester based team, so channels reinforce each other and you have a named contact who answers the phone.

    Reporting on enquiries

We report on calls, forms and revenue, not just traffic. If a channel is not producing enquiries at a sensible cost, we say so and move the budget.

    International SEO FAQ

Should I use separate domains for each country?

Not necessarily. Subfolders on one strong domain are often the most efficient choice. Separate domains make sense when local trust or legal requirements demand it.

For search, rarely on its own. It misses local terminology and search behaviour. We use it as a starting point at most, with native review.

US English differs in spelling and terminology, and the search landscape is far more competitive. It usually needs its own keyword research and content.

Indirectly. Clear language and regional signals help AI systems pick the correct version of your content for a user.
